Twin Hearts LLC opened in Boca Raton, FL in 2008. With excellent patient care, hard work, and ensuring that all patients are treated with respect by all staff members, we have grown into a thriving practice. Tony Sheikh, M.D.

Tony Sheikh, M.D.

Tanveer Sheikh, MD trained in Internal Medicine at Wayne State University, Detroit, MI and completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Miami Beach, FL. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease and has admitting privileges at Boca Raton Regional Hospital.

He has worked at Heart Care since 1993. At this office, licensed and certified technicians are available to do echocardiograms, carotid ultrasounds, abdominal ultrasounds, and vascular ultrasounds. Treadmill and nuclear stress tests are also performed in the clinic.

There is an active pacemaker clinic for follow up of pacemakers and defibrillators. Head up tilt table tests, holter monitors, and event monitors are also available to diagnose heart rhythm disorders.

All kinds of heart problems are treated at this clinic; the most common are:

He established a vein clinic at Twin Hearts LLC in 2010. He has treated patients with all aspects of vein disease. Some of the conditions commonly treated are:

  • Massive swelling or edema.

The procedures performed at the vein clinic are:

CoolTouch CTEV micro-pulsed laser is used for treatment as it has the following features:

  • Nd:YAG laser with high peak power (up to 4000 watts) and micro-pulsing nature which is safer and much less likely to cause vein injury
  • The 1320nm wavelength and clear tip technology provide water absorption for uniform vein coagulation and best long-term patient outcomes.
Andrea McGlone, PA-C

Andrea McGlone, PA-C

Andrea McGlone, PA-C, is a board certified Physician Assistant. She received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Florida in Health and Human Performance. She obtained her Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies from Barry University where she excelled in academics, graduating with honors.

She believes in providing patient-centered care that begins with listening to the patients and working with them to create a plan of care. Andrea strives to care for each and every patient with the utmost compassion, sincerity, and respect. She has privileges at Boca Raton Regional Hospital and is able to admit patients as needed in collaboration with our physicians. In her spare time, Andrea enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.

She is experienced in the following:

  • Wellness examination
  • Preventive care
  • Management of chronic medical conditions such as, but not limited to: hypertension, diabetes mellitus, high cholesterol, heart failure, thyroid disease, chronic bronchitis, asthma, and obesity.
  • Diagnosis and treatment of common acute problems including but not limited to: upper respiratory infections, bronchitis, pneumonia, sinusitis, pharyngitis, asthma exacerbations, urinary tract infections, otitis media and externa, conjunctivitis, migraines, gastroenteritis, allergic reactions, and back pain.
  • Weight loss consultations and use of the many new FDA approved medications for losing weight
  • Spider vein treatment with sclerotherapy

She is also certified by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and able to perform the DOT physical examination required for evaluation of drivers of commercial motor vehicles.
